Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This policy explains what Redline collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. The short version: we collect the minimum we need to run the service, your contracts are processed to produce your analysis, and you can delete your data at any time.
1. Who we are
Redline is operated by Victoria Essien, based in Nigeria. For any privacy question or request, or to reach the person responsible for your data, contact redline@vessien.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information from your Google account.
- Your Content: the contract text and files (PDF, DOCX, TXT) you submit for analysis, and the analyses, comparisons, and chat messages generated from them.
- Payment data: when you buy credits, your payment is handled by Paystack. We receive a transaction reference and status; we do not see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: standard log and security data (such as authentication cookies and request metadata) needed to keep the service working and secure.
3. How your contracts are processed (important)
To produce an analysis, the content you submit is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the Claude API), which processes it and returns the result. This means your contract text leaves our systems and is transmitted to a third-party processor for the time it takes to generate your analysis.
Because of this, you should not upload material you are not permitted to share with a third-party AI service, for example documents under a confidentiality obligation that forbids it. Anthropic processes the data under its own commercial terms. Per those terms, your inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic’s models, and are retained only as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and safety obligations. You can review the current terms on Anthropic’s website.
We also rely on these providers to run Redline:
- Supabase: authentication, database, and storage of your account and saved analyses.
- Paystack: payment processing for credit purchases.
- Vercel: hosting and delivery of the website.
4. How we use your data
- To provide the service: run analyses and save your results.
- To process payments and maintain your credit balance.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
- To communicate with you about your account or service-related matters.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use Your Content to advertise to you.
5. Legal bases (EU/UK users)
If you are in the EU or UK, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to pursue legitimate interests (security and improving the service), to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
6. Retention and deletion
Your saved analyses remain in your account until you delete them; you can remove any analysis from your history at any time. If you want your entire account and associated data deleted, contact us at redline@vessien.com and we will delete it, except where we must retain limited records (such as transaction records) to meet legal or accounting obligations.
7. Security
Your saved analyses are protected so that only your account can access them. We use reputable infrastructure providers and standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact redline@vessien.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Children
Redline is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
